Winged Scarab Ring
To the ancient Egyptians, the scarab offered a remarkable image of the sun’s daily journey. Observing how the beetle pushed balls of dung across the ground, they drew a connection between this movement and the sun travelling across the sky, emerging again at dawn.
Associated with Khepri, the god of the rising sun, the scarab became a symbol of coming into being, rejuvenation and rebirth.
Handcrafted in Egypt, this ring places the colorful scarab between outstretched wings, drawing inspiration from the winged amulets of ancient Egyptian art. The distinctive composition gives the ancient motif a striking presence, bringing its symbolism of renewal into a statement piece of jewelry.
