Winged Scarab Necklace
To the ancient Egyptians, the scarab was more than an image of a beetle. Watching these small creatures push balls of dung across the earth, they saw a reflection of the sun’s journey — as though the beetle itself were pushing the sun into the sky at dawn.
Closely associated with Khepri, the god of the rising sun, the scarab came to represent coming into being and became a powerful amulet of rejuvenation in this life and rebirth in the next.
Handcrafted in Egypt, this necklace brings the ancient symbol to life through a colorful scarab framed by sweeping wings. Inspired by winged scarabs found in ancient Egyptian art, this statement piece combines the symbolism of renewal with a bold, expressive silhouette.
